Walmer township was supposed to be a white suburb of Port Elizabeth, however during the Apartheid era black and coloured families moved into the area and lived there since then.

Walmer is not different from any township that I’ve been to. The community has lots of unresolved issues that slowly affect the youth. I became the third eye: I was looking more into what they have become and what they could be within the dysfunctional structure of the community.
